i'm the actual maintainer of NM.
As you probably know upstream(s) will do a new release in the next few
days, if upstream relase today/tomorrow/day after tomorrow i will ask
my sponsor to upload the new NM..if not.. i think i will use 0.5.1 :(

with this version we need the new hal (0.5.6) and afaik sjoerd is
working on it.

i made the packages for the galago suite + eds-feed + libnotify and the
notification-daemon..
you can find a copy of all the packages on

at the moment i cannot be the only maintainer of these
packages...probably it's time to open a project
that this most probably will be a long journey or even impossible -
but
if this _is_ impossible I would like to spread the word, so there is an
incentive to work on a truly free tool for editing videos.

Now sylpheed-gtk2 has no conflicts with any sylpheed*.
