Package: wnpp Severity: normal I no longer have any remaining OLPC hardware, so I'm orphaning this. I just did some superficial updates to the package for a decade of policy changes, but the package still does need to be updated for the new world of systemd.
In the past I've tried to request removal of OLPC-related packages, and much to my surprise someone pops up saying that they still use them, so I'm orphaning. I honestly have no idea how well the package even works any more. Thanks, Andres The olpc-kbdshim daemon is used to handle keyboard events on the somewhat unique OLPC XO hardware. It does this by monitoring the keyboard and touchpad, enabling the XO "grab" keys and touchpad rotation (to match screen rotation), and reporting user (in)activity. It can also bind the XO screen rotate, brightness, and volume keys to appropriate commands (which are provided).
