Hello, I was browsing for opportunities to help contribute to Debian and saw that this package requires a new maintainer. While I have never solely been responsible for maintaining a project, I saw that anki was one of them and happened to have made extensive use of this software during my time as an undergraduate student. I would be very interested in maintaining this package and would love to do my best effort in doing so. I mostly work with Python professionally for my current job, but have recently taken it upon myself to learn and begin projects in rust as well.
