Hmm... I'll repackage some parts of PackageKit instead of taking the
Ubuntu version.
Maybe a package reorganisation is also needed. I think this will fix some
bugs reported agains "packagekit" at Launchpad.
(And the "new" debhelper will be used)

Now, since the Debconf-Issue is in progress and will be resolved soon, is
there something left blocking a PackageKit inclusion into Debian?
(I'd like to see packagekit in main ^^)

Sorry to say. But AFAIK the debconf solution is currently far from being
resolved
