Hi,
I've completed the package, included your patch and fixed other things; I've
finally managed to write a proper init script.
I've just uploaded the package to mentors so it can be reviewed by a DD (I
asked Filippo Giunchedi) and then it will be uploaded to NEW.
The

I was off for three weeks w/out Internet access until this Monday and previous
to that I was somewhat dragged to other packages.

Hi,
just a trivial patch for your CFE3 package:
libdb-dev, libssl-dev, flex, bison
seem to be missing in the Build-Depends.
OTOH, init was there, seems to have been adapted for CFE3 also. What else is
missing there? As you see i didn't test any functionality yet, that would
take me time, I
