There appear to be two competing forked projects writing these drivers, one by Manu Abraham (which I think is the original), and one by Igor M. Liplianin. I currently run the former, while the latter has been recommended to me recently. Both appear to be in active development. I make no attempt to recommend one of the other, in fact, it seems very hard to judge which is the best. I have also been told that it is unlikely that these drivers will go into the mainline kernels any time soon.
