I have done history-breaking rebases in the git repository to cleanup the master branch, which is now "sid" (regular unstable uploads), instead of "experimental" (which is now a separate branch, as bpo).
So most changes should now happen on the master branch, with the other ones potentially lagging behind. Most significantly, the dh7 rewrite now sits on the master branch, and experimental/bpo are forks off that. This means you will need to clone the repo from scratch or reset your history to around 0f4fb17 before pulling to avoid a mess. This is in accordance with upstream's clearly expressed desires to focus on the LTS for packaging. So now, by default, you will get what used to be called "lts" when you clone this repo. A. -- The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place. - Douglas Adams (1952-2001)
