Hi: I would like to help out by maintaining packages that have been orphaned or are up for adoption. I have experience with programing in C and in Tcl/Tk. Is there a good How To document which answers the following questions; 1) How to use reportbug to indicate that I have taken over maintenance of a given package? 2) How to download the source files for the package? 3) How to upload fixed source files for the package? 4) What are the tests that would be required before a package could be uploaded with fixes?
Any information to help get me started would be most appreciated. Abhay
