Due to a lack of interest in maintaining icepref, as I no longer use
IceWM as my window manager, I am seeking someone to take over
maintenance of the package.
Please make sure you retain the changes from the Debian version of the
demultiplex MPEG 1 and MPEG 2 files (System layer, Program layer
and Transport Layer).
* mpgtx can add, remove and edit ID3 tags from mp3 files and rename mp3 files
according to their ID3 tags. This includes ID3v1 and ID3v2.
License is GPL.

Did you ever get a response from the ViPEC developers about the
misunderstanding of the GPL? Are you still planning on packaging it?
I'm interested in getting this package into Debian, but I agree with
you that the statement on the web page is misleading.
