"getting started" oversight?

On the front page of www.debian.org ("getting started" section) it states that the latest stable release is 3.0r1, yet in the "news" section there is an announcement of 3.0r2. Is r2 not considered a stable release? If it is, then the "getting started" section should probably be updated to reflect t
