*show* work being done with donated money. We are quite good at that for
DebConf, with the final report, but we don't do that for other events
like sprints or, why not, machine installations / replacement.

We are all aware of the long standing issue of Debian's website copyright,
which is discussed at length in #388141 (Cc:-ed).
Not forgetting the fact that such bug needs proper fixing (and that it won't be
easy), a recent blog post by Bradley Kuhn [1] made
oblem in having a DebConf link (not mentioning
sponsoring) pointing to the DebConf website. Once the visitor reaches
debconf11.debconf.org, it's pretty obvious that there are sponsorship
opportunities and it's also immediately evident what some of the
benefits are (i.e. logos on the website)

subject and compared it with what other distros do. A remarkable difference
