I noticed your posting regarding problems with XFree86 4.0 locking up on your Thinkpad 240, and spent the last five hours coming up with an ad-hoc solution. I have no idea what the problem is, but the following appears to be a minimal set of accelerations to disable to keep the server from hanging

Hi, I am currently working on XFree 4.0.3 and 4.1 for s390. Below are some issues I have found so far. First of all, glide shouldn't be prerequisite for XFree on s390. The xkb files are still in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb instead of /etc/X11/xkb. I am not quite sure what the reason is, but suspect t
