Hello X Strike Force,
I have a problem involving cut buffer.
My Xserver run on woody (but it is backport of 4.2.1-3).
I use
xcb -S 1 && xcb -p 1
to display the content of the cut buffer.
This work fine with the woody version.
However inside a sid chroot, I get
X Error of failed request: BadA

Debian maintainer is free to make a Debian-specific fix for uxterm.
However, that won't work on other systems, so the comment is not useful to me.

Hi,
attached another patch for xserver-xfree86.config.in - without it, the
preinst fails and xserver-xfree86 does not install at all.

Hi!,
I use gnome for my user's default session, but I also have KDE
installed for my wife.
The problem is that now (since friday 05/07/04), I cannot login
into my gnome session. It inmediately defaults to KDE.

This is a problem since reporter's locale says C1 codes are printable.
To workaround, he should use the -k8 option of xterm (see manpage).

Are you saying I've filed a duplicate bug report (I couldn't see one when
I looked), that you are already aware of the problem, that it is not a
problem (in which case, please can you explain why), or what?
