i've had already several troubleshootings,
where this note prompted the user to abort the upgrade.
apt went in a nice not recoverable dependency loop
needed the hammer to get them back:
dpkg -i --force-foo
the severity of this bug seems much higher than wishlist.

With the following configuration, which seems ok to me, the nodeadkeys
option does not work. Any idea where to look and what to check? X is a
bit of a black box to me :)

The attached patch fixes makes the .so references use the correct path
to the directory containing Xau.3x.gz. I've verified that it fixes
the problem.
