Package: x11-xkb-utils Version: 7.6+4 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? A recent dist-upgrade (couple of days ago) * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? setxkbmap -layout us -variant intl didn't work at all. Now I either don't support for áéíóú characters or I need to hold AltGr key for those, but US International layout is supposed to support diacritics by treating `'^ keys as dead keys. * What was the outcome of this action? No accentuated keys supported. * What outcome did you expect instead? áéíóú were supposed to come out by pressing ' followed by a vowel -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.1.0+ (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages x11-xkb-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.13-21 ii libx11-6 2:1.4.4-4 ii libxaw7 2:1.0.9-3 ii libxkbfile1 1:1.0.7-1 ii libxt6 1:1.1.1-2 x11-xkb-utils recommends no packages. x11-xkb-utils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- balbi
