The above patch for 421772 when applied has solved a great deal of font
rendering trouble particularly wrt to KHTML. In my case, my very old CRT
comes up with some very bad dpi settings. H

I'm having the same issue with "greedy" vs the ATI driver. There is a patch in
bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12520 that fixes it for me. Actually, I

Hi, first of all, I'd like to say thanks for getting xorg 7.1 and that mesa
snapshot into unstable. I've been using that Mesa snapshot (from
experimental) for quite some time on my r300 class hardware.
That being said, I've been salivating while following the xorg, mesa, and dri
lists-- And fig
As a humble user of the mesa-dri snapshot in experimental, I'd be all
for a newer CVS pull that plays nice with the current versions of the
kernel, xorg, and libdrm. I'm using the admittedly experimental r300
driver, from Debian experimental so expecting smooth sailing is a
little much to ask. Aft

First of all, congratulations on getting Xorg 7 into unstable! I
upgraded last night without any major hitches... Save one minor
annoyance... my x-cursor-theme isn't being honoured. Hardly a critical
bug, but seeing that black pointer with the white outline agai
