for more than one time i have the problem that when the X server fails to start
it ends up in an loop to try to start!
When you have a damaged vga card and change it you never get a simple console
again.

Hello together,
i did not install the backup and found the problem now.
The ATI driver from March 2014 did not fit together with the updated X-Server
package.
I downloaded and installed the newest Catalyst driver from here and X is
running now again:

i simply made an system update yesterday and after restart X does not start
anymore!
The system is in usage so i have to wipe it and install an backup from the

Since the last system update the Xorg server consumes a lot of cpu usage and
the system is much slower.
Sometimes the system is "hanging" for some seconds and then working again.
