Setting either layout separately works but setting both does not.
Since there are many tools using xkb to set keyboard layout in X and
keyboard layouts for many languages are useless with applications that
require things like numbers or ASCII int

the qemu USB tablet emulation.

It looks like the log I sent was from a X server as restarted by xdm
after the original X server crashed.
I get similar error when I do not configure any framebuffer and thus get
no console (I'm booting from efi) and try to start X.
Hopefully I will be able to collect the crashed serv
