This bug is still open since the 11th of March, nothing has happend
since the 28th of August.
Can someone please give us an outlook about what is hindering an
apparently simple rebuild of this package?

The upgrade of libmetacity-private0 from 2.30.1-3 to 2.34.0-1 is the
cause of the problem.
Haven't looked into its code, I assume there is an ABI change that was
not well documented, so linkage still works when running the
gtk-window-decorator, but should not, thus either a libmetacity-private1
