Dear Maintainer,
I mount a fat USB sticker with Thunar (and udisks).
All work fine.
When I eject with the arrow button in Thunar, all xorg freezes. The
mouse does not work and only a poweroff with the power button works.
Alt-Fx does not work.
No errors log in sy

The scale of change of the intensity of the backlight is wrong.
Changing this is done with the hot keys to increase or decrease.
The minimum get a black screen.

Yes, Julien, but this issue is not really new (some monthes for me ?)
and it is reproductible on another system with S3 unichrome video chip
(ASUS A7V400 MX mothercard).

today with the latest squeeze. So 2.9.1-4 has
been replaced by 2:2.12.0+shadow-2, which needs KMS to work.
But when inserting i915 module with modeset=1,
radeon mobility HD3400 (r6xx)
either with testing or if needed unstable/experimental
Any hint / url ... is welcome

* GL -> segfault

I managed to make it work, withotu this ugly workaround, by editing
/etc/X11/xorg.conf and change
Option "XkbdModel" "pc105"
to
Option "XkbModel" "toshiba_s3000"
but, its far from obvious to find it.
I don't know if i should fill a bug against debian installer, o
