I wonder why the modules divert the system ones anyway - could this
package instead install the modules under /lib/modules/$KVER/updates?
See depmod.conf(5) - there is precedent for this w/ the alsa module
packages in previous releases.

One thing I'd suggest is adding some text to the draft release
notes[1] to explain things like:
* When you might want to use these new drivers (I started some text
for this)
*
Oops - didn't mean to drop debian-x from the cc..

Thanks Julien!
Did this already go through SRM review on debian-release? Since this
is an update to an existing package (vs. a new one) that needs to be
done, if it hasn't already, before it can be approved.
#x27;etchnahalf'), so probably good for the X packages to
use the same convention.
Also, I don't think you're working on any packages that are etchnhalf
specific, but if you are, you might consider using that in the
packagename as well. We'll be doing that for the linux-latest
metapackages, for example.

The problem here appears to be that the symbol PRIVATE isn't defined
anywhere. It compiles fine if I define PRIVATE to be nothing.

such or, better yet, fix it in an MU :)
Unless you request otherwise, any NMUs I upload will be to the DELAYED

an MU to prevent it from entering unstable.

During a dpkg-reconfigure, xserver-xorg reports the above message.
If I first load the efivars module, it seems to run dmidecode and is ok.
I haven't looked at the configuration code, so I don't know if this breaks
anything or not.
