after some random time period my screen goes black and nothing i do short of
rebooting can bring it back ... i have gotten quite good at switching to a new
console and logging in and rebooting without being able to see what
i was having the flickering garbage problem using the standard squeeze
kernel and open source ati driver ... i installed from experimental a
few hours ago and have since had no problems

hi guys
i have also this bug with my Thinkpad T500 running Debian Squeeze
if i enable KMS i get random horizontal flicker across parts of the
screen as described above
i tried the solution mentioned but no luck here
the move to not supporting KMS off is *really* rather annoying ... is
