It doesn't seem to make a difference.

Dear Maintainer,
Xorg segfaults with a backtrace at startup on my AMD desktop with
integrated (Radeon KAVERI) graphics. This looks like the same problem
as Yaroslav Halchenko's report in bug #767356. I've attached a more
change the layout in GNOME (System -> Preferences ->
Keyboard), but not in the GDM login window, which makes it very
difficult to type user name and password.
Kind regards,

Hi,
I tracked this down to an xfwm4 bug (#442053). I'm upgrading now and
hopeful this issue won't crop up again so you can close this bug.

Hi,
I've been having some problems with xorg locking up lately. It seems to
happen most when I open a pdf in evince. Then the following happens.
- evince starts up, buttons, window bar etc. show up correctly
- pdf doesn't get rendered
- mous
ces are not visible as icons), but I guess
that's another bug to report. Window borders look fine.

Hi,
trying to start compiz now errors out with the following:
GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap is available with direct rendering.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
So no window borders but then no compiz either. This is with nvidia
latest drivers available in non-free on a GF 6600 gpu.

I've had this same bug. However, it seems unrelated to the other bug
report since I had a machine where the dbus plugin was enabled and not
causing problems, but window borders weren't displaying at first. Using
