Whoa ! That was it ! /bin/sh was linked to dash. I wonder how long
that had existed here.
I just purged the packages "dash" and "ash" from this system which were
not needed and caused this problem.
These packages and all of the new X11 4.3.0-3 packages are now installed
on this system.
On Mon,
Package: libx11-6, libxt6
Version: 4.3.0-3
Both packages will not install which causes ALL of the new X11 packages
to not install. Here is the error messages:
