The transcoded fonts seem to have been merged into xfonts-base,
so it's safe to remove the xfonts-base-transcoded package
(which doesn't exist in testing or unstable).
I think this bug should be closed; I'll do so myself if I don't
hear from the maintainers in a few days.

Hello,
of the various xfonts- packages installed on my Debian [1], this is
the only one that still has a 6.9* version and thus installs into
/usr/X11R6 instead of the new location.
Are this fonts still present in the X.org
