I am experiencing the same bug here. After upgrading to 1.3.99.901-1
tapping stopped working. It was working fine with the previous version,
with the very same setup as now: Configuration (xorg.conf), Hardware,
and /dev/-device didn't change.

I can't tap anymore.
Since my computer only has left button separated, i can use middle and right
buttons only with tapping, meaning that they are not available for me at the
current moment.
