I agree. I am constantly flipping back and forth between mesa-utils and mesa-utils:i386. I run a combination of games that are i386 and AMD64. Sometimes when I upgrade for one reason or another, I lose GL acceleration on either i386 or AMD64 due to a package conflict or some random package problem
