What is the best way to configure X now? Still xf86setup ? Is that
cross-platform? Is there any possibility to help users determine
which X server to use as well?

I was under the impression xconfigurator is in fact in potato. I
guess not. But I note crow has some stuff in his home web pages.

them to the appropriate Linux driver. (Pain in the ass) This is still a
ways off. If anyone wants help, Let me know.
