Hmmm, that could possibly render some decent results if spammers use the
same domain in the "MAIL FROM:" address in the SMTP envelope as they us in
the URI listed in the body of the message. How are the results stacking up

On the backup, you create actual IMail virtual hosts in the form
storeforward.example.com, with example.com as a host alias. You also
ensure that the mailbox server can accept mail to, say,

I just figured if the URL is used for spam, do I
really want to be receiving e-mail from that domain?

setup IMail on the backup servers.
Currently I have 1 mailbox server with 10 domains and 3 backup servers, each

So, the benefit of being a higher-up, muckity-muck at Microsoft is not
having the best software, but rather the duckets to hire an entire dept. of
folks to clean up your email for you. I wish I could afford "Microsoft's

This is a prime example of why Bill Gates and our legislators will not work
harder on eliminating spam. They have people that handle their spam for
them. They don't realize how big a pain in the posterior it really is.

It is very CPU intensive...
It also uses several other tests as indicators (upper case subject),

creating rules to eliminate spam. I can't imagine a software company not
doing some of that.
