linux and don't have time to learn right now just get the windows version.
You'll need to install winpcap first and then ethereal. You can get them both

I don't know if it's 32 bit but the .dat files are on the same page and the
heading they're under is "VirusScan Version 4.x (or higher) Daily Updates."
So it looks like you can get the updated pattern files at the same place.
