I'm using both at the moment. ClamAV needs a helper program for Declude to
capture the virus name.

Can 'by design' mean a switch be addeded to allow deletion? I would
like to be able to make that decision - not declude.
Thanks

It seems that DELETEVIRUSES ON isn't working in Declude Virus

I have it set to:

In my virus.cfg but they're

Bill,
You might also want to post your virus.cfg lines that define the scanner(s).
I'd guess you've got something not quite right in there.

scanners to your configuration. I added ClamAV after seeing an
article that said it was very high on the list of who gets updates out the
quickest after a new virus is found.
Another one is BitDefender. Their free scanner has just the right features
for Declude Virus.

Does not look like it can be called by command line.
I'm using the Free BitDefender for Windows and it does have a command line
scanner. I don't remember seeing any licensing restrictions.

I had to put --mbox on the command line to find the viruses listed above. I
assume that I don't need it in virus.cfg because Declude Virus will have
already extracted everything.
If you are running ClamAV successfully, could you send me your virus.cfg
settings?
Thanks,

There isn't. The problem is that ClamAV doesn't report the virus name in
the standard format. We are, however, looking into finding a way
around this.
There's a standard format? Can I get a copy of the standard? ClamAV is
open source so it might be easier to submit a fix to the source than
