The links should still work from articles, although it isn't something

Ok, I took a alook, and yes you are right there is a gradient option
there.hence I DID miss something :-)
BTW this is Delpho 2007.
I also managed to find your code on CC...eventually. the link on the page
points to a cc.borland.com not embarcedero.

I'd say you are doing something wrong. The TMS toolbars support at
least 10 different styles.
Perhaps you could post a message on their support group.

Its existing code that I am adding to.
It loads a bitmap into tbitmap then draws the bitmap on a canvas.
Before doing that it takes the color of the canvas whcich happens to be
clBtnface and puts it into the bitmaps tran

various reasons.
I there a toolbar on the form (this is delphi2007) and I was supprised to
see that there is is NO property/s for gradient support !
I then remebered about the TColourMaping components that you use with an
