I vaguely recall an M$ DLL that needs to be placed in the application
folder for 2000 and 98se. This replaces the system32 DLL with the calls
required for XP style graphics.

Something like comctl32.dll. I don't know if you can drop the XP one in
or there is a specific one on the net.

Hi

We have been working with Gradient backgrounds (which is nice) however 
testing our app on Win 2000 (and I assume 95/98) shows that the Tlabel 
component is nicely transparent on XP and Vista but NOT on Win 2000.  
This looks really really ugly. Does anyone know why this is so?

(Dev in Delphi 2007 if that makes a difference).
