wrong because the other directives disappeared. At least not directly, maybe it
is related.

Something is really wrong, I am not able to reproduce at will. Git HEAD, right
now.
Directives disappear, standalone as well overwritten ones. The new voice
commands suddenly reset to the old stem commands, upbeat and midi directives
disappear.
Nothing unusual in the terminal output.

For reasons I won't discuss, I don't want to run Denemo under Linux.
Therefore, I am using the Windows version 0.8.22. Although I am able to
struggle along with Denemo using my computer keyboard, mouse, and its
internal synthesizer, I do have some questions. My questions are:
1.
Below is an email that I inadvertently blocked thinking it was spam (I
didn't read past the five words:) but noticed when the acknowledgement

laptop usb port (without installing any driver software)
