This is because you still have instrumentation turned on via "x" in the

Yes, however it seems to be the default when first setting up a Windows
10 machine. I thought it worth the experiment to set up a new account
without Admin priviliges on

I did copy the Nov22 unzipped download to a memory stick and tries it on
a friend's PC.
It could be that if the fault is with my PC the version had already been

I did this yesterday. To trigger the instrumentation go to Edit->Change
