Re: [libreoffice-design] Page numbers on background

Hi all, I agree with having just the physical page number and I'd be okay with it being cut off if the user zooms in (rather that than block off some of the document). However, I'd like to have the page number float on the left side of the document and stay on screen as the user scrolls down the p

@Ricardo, good point about the window decoration. I was thinking the same myself. At the moment, KDE, Gnome, Unity, Mac OS and Windows all of their own unique implementations of the window titlebar. Microsoft Office can get away with customising their titlebar since their suite is optimised for Win

HI Greg, Yes, I wholly agree with your thoughts. The scrollbars should dynamically appear once a user zooms into a slide and the entire slide cannot be viewed on the screen but should disappear once the user has zoomed far back enough to view the entire slide and it's surrounding contents. I think

Hi all, I have a lot more experience with Powerpoint 2007 than I have with LO Impress. One of the habits I brought from Powerpoint was flicking through slides while in design mode by pressing the Up and Down arrow keys. I immediately noticed that this doesn't work in Impress because the arrow keys

Hi Christian! I like the search idea, it's interesting and I think it should probably looked at in more detail at some point. However, the funny thing about search it's kind of tricky to implement because you need to second guess what the user actually wants to do. A search function for UI command

Hi all, Today I put together a mockup for a possible Layout I think LibreOffice could use. Since it's just a layout, it's quite rough, lacks polish and is very simple [it's also my first ever mockup]. The design is inspired by the concepts behind Ubuntu's unity. It's all about maximising vertical
