I know its not with the affinity-logo, but you could just make a simple
gradient with the two fedora blue colors in "Background" in "System
Settings" in GNOME Shell.

Now I have changed the icons :) There is the computer and the folder icon in
full-color on 256x256 icon - and metallic-shaded simplified versions of
those icons in 48x48 icon.

I found the error. The terminal-icon 16x16 was lowered one pixel too much :)
I have fixed the metadata-stuff and added the "scalable" to the 48x48 icon

Yeah, of cause I could put more details in the 256x256 but I chose not to
do that, because I like a clean icon set with easy-recognizable icons
without too much extra-stuff added. The details would in my opinion just be
visual clutter that do not help to make the icon easier to understand :)

Yes, some people like lightning effects and funny gimmicks.
But I think it's more important to look professional and clean if we want to
get to a bigger market - specially in the enterprise-section.
If Linux/GNOME/Fedora was all about funny gimmicks I wouldn't use it,

There is a problem with the icon-naming :) user-desktop.png is a
folder with a desktop on - which is quite weird when I normally have a
little icon of a desktop :D

I have just installed Fedora 13 on another computer to test it. And
when I open up Nautilus and Firefox I see totally new arrow icons and
such. Are they gonna be there for real in the final release? I really
think they are SO ugly compared to the old icons :D
