Can you please try this with the standard Dapper kernel? A lot of
udev/hotplug changes took place between .12 and 15 and udev is very
sensitive to these changes.

I still have that issue. I do not use anything fancy (neither xgl, nor
composite, nor EXA). I have a Radeon Mobility 7500, and I use the open-
source driver, if that has any relevance.
