The text in the dialog is wrong. What will wake the computer depends on BIOS
settings. In my case only the power button wakes the computer and there is no
way to change that. There's nothing wrong with acpi, or suspend, just the text

A temporary fix is to purge the package (it also removes gdm and
ubuntu-desktop), then installing it from flight 6 ubuntu install cd-rom.
Remember to reinstall gdm and ubuntu-desktop and to avoid upgrading to v12 of

Confirmed, if I take a file of mine which plays OK, and convert it to one of
these FLAC files without length metadata, Rhythmbox refuses to play it.
Guillaume, you should be able to work around the problem trivially by
recompressing your FLAC files.

I think it was related to a restrictive firewall I was running on the remote
SAMBA box. Weird thing though, that Windows worked without any problems.
Anyway, I've turned off the firewall on that box and it's working.

The Dashboard extension is useful for integration with Beagle. It enables
Beagle to index history and bookmarks. At least in theory.

its ~7mb thats about an hours download on dialup.
maybe the answer is to add a gui to gnome-app-install with a check box by all
the recomends and suggests for a package, so you can choose if you want them.
but i dont imagine that fits in a dapper time frame.
