I don't think I can help much more at this point as I'm not a Ubuntu
user.
It sounds like it might be a kernel problem. What I'd suggest is
turning on debugging information in pilot-xfer, and running a system-
call level trace:

Yep, this is the same bug. I am also using the ATI driver. Note however
that this only affects the Human theme, other themes seem to work well.

The Ubuntu desktop wallpaper is great, but doesnt have any artwork thats
twice the normal width. This would be great to have, especialy since
people are trying to have dual monitors more and more.

firefox 1.5.0.1-1ubuntu10 installed with the ctrl-to-focus-pointer on and using
ctrl-c/ctrl-x behaves as expected results...

gnome-cups-manager (0.31-1.1ubuntu11) dapper; urgency=low
.
* Cleaned up the 'foo.diff and foo.diff.patch' mess.
* Add debian/patches/password_field_garbage.patch:
- When editing SMB connection attributes, do not set the password input
Devoting the bug to the cups issue now (not sending the user name). This
has to be discussed with upstream and is nothing for dapper.

Thanks for your bug report. Can you reproduce with libgnomevfs2-0-dbg
installed, as gnome_vfs_async_get_job_limit seems to lead to "Datei konnte
