dbus service - the problem with the empty trashcan icon when deleting

Running a fully updated dapper here. The volume I'm trying to mount is
an ext3 partition on my SATA drive, which I made user-mountable adding
it to /etc/pmount.allow. The behaviour is quite odd, as I have already
stated: double clicking the icon in nautilus actually causes the volume
to get mounted

Yesterday evening, I downloaded the Ubuntu Dapper Flight 7 CD and
decided to try it out. It was pretty late, and everybody else in my
house had already gone to bed. I'm on a laptop with no real way to

Ubuntu Dapper flight 7 and Firefox is my default web browser. Try
clicking "Translate this application.." from any other application,
other than the web-browser.

Just a quick comment related to this:
it would actually make things easier if the help system at least told
you *how* to save searches.
Quoting from the Nautilus help file, chapter "Searching For Files",
section "Saving Searches":
Nautilus searches can also be saved for future use. Once saved,
I believe I'm having a similar problem- and have confirmed with at least

The "computer" view in nautilus isn't updated accordingly when a volume
is mounted through, for example, pmount/mount issued directly from the
terminal. I noticed this is not the case with the cdrom drive:

Description of the problem:
If the Sound -> Languages menu is open when a media finishes playing then totem
will lockup and GNOME will no longer respond to mouse clicks.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Run
totem /usr/share/sounds/login.wav
2. While it is playing but before it is fini
it would be nice if we could provide an option to make the partition
user mountable, very easy to implement, it all boils down to adding an
entry to /etc/pmount.allow
