With an up-to-date Dapper, Epiphany starts up, shows its window, then
freezes for 10 to 15 seconds. During that time, window contents are not
painted and I can see the desktop through the window frame. Dragging the
window makes psychadelic patterns in it. After the delay, Epip

bit to be more usable.

This only happens if you already started an administrative application
(from System -> Administration) before and already entered your password
in gksudo. This is the very same behaviour as on the console, sudo
doesn't ask for the password for 5 minutes after you successfully
authenticated once.

I experienced this bug in Ubuntu 6.06 Desktop version (32-bit PC).
If I haven't created ssh-key, then it asks passwords and works fine. But
when I created ssh-key for a single account. After that every other
account that didn't have a ssh-key, hang. When I removed the ssh-key
files and rebooted, e

is created by ICElib, which is part of GNOME. So it's problem with gnome, and
un-hibernating of them. Can you examine your log files in /var/log/ and try to
find something interesting (of course after un-hibernate)?
