I'm seeing this bug with 6.06.1 LTS. Track times are incorrect in
Rhythmbox, Serpentine and Cowbell. The first 2 showed exactly the same
"way off" duration, but Cowbell was only a little off.
Track times for Banshee, VLC, Totem and Nautilus properties seem fine.

ok so the "generic" totem plugin has an "open in movie player" option,
but its not there via the windows media player interface, so that's a
discrepancy b/w the different plugins.
On the flip side, I still think that certain items should be readily
available from the plugin directly (i.e. full scr

burning hangs and won't use it. Gnomebaker can still use it.

Freezing also works if I skip to the text file or if I open a folder that only

It seems to be a problem with HAL. Other applications (sound juicer)
which detect CD/DVD drives through HAL don't work either.
I think the error occured after the /dev/hd* -> /dev/sc* transition.

I don't think this is a bug in smbfs. Since I upgraded to Dapper, my
cifs (i.e. not smbfs) mount in /etc/fstab hasn't been working on boot.
There weren't any obvious problems, no errors from the kernel, and no
hangups*, so I was a bit puzzled but didn't get around to investigating

I think fullscreen option would be a very good feature to have. For
example a little icon appearing in top corner when you place your mouse
over the video window. Average user expects something like this to
happen, and if it doesn't happen, he/she thinks something's broken.

Just managed to get it to happen again.
I had to restart rhythmbox a couple of times. I had given up hope of being able
to reproduce it, and started to enter a reply to that effect, opened it up

Interestingly the amount of the enlargement depends upon the amount of
resizing done beforehand.
Every tab switch adds the amount of rows and columns that the window has
more than the default (80x24 for me).
So if you resize to 81x25 every tab switch enlarges the window by one
row and one column.
I also have this problem in edgy and it's much worse. I didn't even
notice the problem in dapper.
But now if I open a terminal, resize it and add two new tabs with CTRL-
SHIFT-T, then the second tab will enlarge the window horizontally.

Binary package hint: gtk-doc-tools
gtk-doc has a developer manual since several versions that gets
installed when I compile form source and then can be read via yelp. This
document is not part of the ubunto package for unknow reason. I spent
substantial amount of time to writ
I went through all the steps to install the debugging packages and guess
what - I can't reproduce it with those installed! Two double clicks
just gives two dialogs, as expected. When I restored the standard
package, the crash returned.
I did notice that the crash reported is in gnome-printer-vie
you better bug upstream directly about such issues because have that
relayed by people who don't have the issue don't make thing easier to be
worked

Maybe you could run top and notice what program is using the CPU, then
attach is with "gdb -p $(pidof program)" and get a backtrace with
"thread apply all bt"?

Bug #45656 is about wrong dimensions, and this one is about wrong
position on screen. It could be related with the other, but it's a
different issue, IMHO.

Thanks for your bug. That works fine on my dapper installation. Does it
happen every time? Is the order changed at every startup? Is it random?
Did you click on any column to sort them? Does it depends of songs
listed?

you can't delete those for the moment bug you can update the bug number.
The issue is something that need to be worked upstream and there is
already bugs about it, the task number is not really important for that

Does it happen if you click on the "next" button to reach the end of the
playlist or do you need to play everything before? Could you get a backtrace:
- run totem
- while it's playing run "gdb -p $(pidof totem)" from a command line
(gdb) continue
... get it freezing, then look at gdb. If it crashe
I have retested it and now is quite different:
sometimes everything is black with no output (with no network activity)
some other times the error message is
Totem could not play 'mmsh://live.mediaserver.kataweb.it/retea?MSWMExt=.asf'.
Could not open location; You may not have permission to open th
if you have the same issue maybe you can reply to the questions of the
previous comment?
