was solved by removing the cdrom module before suspending or

I solved the problems by removing the cdrom driver before suspending,
and having it reinserted afterwards. You do this by editing
/etc/default/acpi-support to have the following:

that in a good-contrast font and color. In Edgy, with the default boot
options there is no progress display at all. If I take "quiet" off th

opened for dapper though I doubt we will work on trying to fix that for
dapper soon

machines I upgraded to edgy. The ones that work are x86 machines,

(Log off, lock screen, switch user, ...), but this window is not really
centered on my screen.
My resolution is 1024x768.

It takes a very long time to copy files to xfs filesystem in nautilus.
It's quick if I use cp command or other filesystems.
Steps to reproduce:
1. make a xfs filesystem and mount it to /target
2. open nautilus, copy a big file from somewhere and paste it to /target
3. it's VE
The tags are written but they are corrupt. If you view the mp3 in Ex
Falso it shows the corrupt tags. Alternatively you can view the file in
a hex editor and see the tags at the beginning of the file.

I'm using Sound Juicer 2.14.4 on Ubuntu Dapper and when I rip mp3s the ID3 tags
are
corrupt. I have viewed the files in various tag editors. Ex Falso/Quod Libet
shows the correct metadata but with binary characters at the beginning of each
field. EasyTAG doesn't show any meta
You are correct, gdb was attached. Included is a new trace. Although it
too looks a little strange - very short and without symbols being loaded
or read. Maybe this is normal. It does show the crash and the reason
(missing file). Hopefully this trace is good.

As far as I know, Samba reloads it's settings every 60 seconds.

Sebastien, yes, if I do evolution --force-shutdown the changes show up.
Otherwise the contact doesn't even show up in evolution but it shows
that the contact is already there if I try to add it again.
By the way, I tried today to enter a contact by using the "New contact"
button and it works as ex
