Ok. I took time to study the problem noticed several things. The main

3. Leaving the presentation open in presentation mode go to another workspace,
download a new, never before opened PDF
Yes, it seems that if the PDF I open in step 3 is being opened for the
first time *this session* then it will open in presentation mode. I can
then change it to another mode, close it, and open it again, and it'll
be fine.

Here the same problem , upgrade to 6.10 , and HAl fail to initilaize at

happen constantly or randomly? Does sudo aptitude reinstall devhelp do
anything (assuming you have aptitude installed, if not, run sudo apt-
