Rhythmbox has decided it wants to control suspend and resume.
I want suspend to pause the music, and resume when I awaken my laptop -
and I think this is pretty darn reasonable, as hitting the suspend
button is unlikely to be accidental.

I have the same issue, although only when trying to extract to my home
directory (the default directory that comes up in file-roller). I have
to put "./" in the location box for the extract button to work in this
scenario. I have no trouble extracting to other folders.

I am running Ubuntu 6.10 and connecting to an AIM account. My friend is
running some version of AIM on a Windows PC. She was consistently able
to crash my gaim by requesting to make a direct connection with me and
then quickly canceling it.

Btw, a superior fix would be to have a higher level function that
Inkscape could call to temporarily override a given keyboard shortcut.

While running Firefox 2.0.0.1 and 1 bash shell terminal, gaim closed and
exited. The icon disapeared in the tool/task bar (by the clock) and
aprox 1 min later a window came up asking about sending a error report
for the gaim crash. I am running Ubunt

This problem happened to me when I set up an webdavs share used an
incorrect configuration on my server. Using this (incorrect) share,
Firefox whould open the "davs://" URI. When I'd fixed the error however,
nautilus opened the share like it should.

When trying to open an image file directly by starting eog and then open an
image file, eog responds with the following:

Along similar lines to 48450 and 47005 - when I lock my session, it is
possible for another users to then switch to their account, and upon
logging in X appears to crash, restart, and then the default login
screen reappears however with a nautilu
It seems only to happen when Gwget already shows a tooltip and wants to show an
other one.
On Gwget startup, it brings up a tooltip with the text "Gwget". If you leave
that one open and a download finishes, Gwget wants to show that in another
tooltip - crash.
I presume it is also a bug in Gwget

Elijah explains in the upstream bug that this behaviour is according to
design. When raise_on_click is not set, the *only* thing which can raise
a window is a pager. gajim is not a pager, therefore it cannot raise
windows (not even its own). The solution is for gajim to register as a
pager.

Thought I'd drop by to let you know: after resetting my Gnome
configuration to defaults this problem has been fixed.
Presumably it's a custom configuration that wasn't an issue in Dapper,
but is in Edgy.

I can confirm on edgy, even when using the default ubuntu mode. Besides,
if you set a shortcut or keybinding for nautilus --no-desktop it opens
multiple instances with the --desktop parameter
