gstreamer's deficiencies in comparison to xine are not limited to dvd
playback:
1. playing streaming media doesn't work as well as xine
(especially wmv streaming media) - in many cases - not at
all - this is a huge issue.
2. playback of corrupted/partial files is very cpu
You know, I really don't think that this font is all that great. The
hinting is really, really off. Or even non-existent. And, as I
suspected, the font does not have the optimal screen font structure.
Condensed fonts are more difficult to read, most of the time, and that
is why I was skeptical
I also encountered this error.
I started by right-clicking the song, i wanted to edit, chose
preferences.
Then i cut and pasted some text in songname, and used the back and
forward buttons, then the error occurred.
Rhythmbox continued to play music just fine, and I continued to edit the
track

Just one more thing. each time I try to edit a track on this album, and
it crashes a file named the same as the track + a hexcode at the end, is
created.

Hi, I'm the author of the upstream alt-f6 code. It does actually use the
X window's group property. It appears to me that the problem is that
multiple gnome-terminals don't have the same group property as one
another. You can add the debugging statement below to demonstrate this.
