I've tried downgrading rhythmbox and it helps.
In the latest release the Visualisation plugin was added, this was causing the
problem. Disabling the plugin solves the problem.
I don't know if it's enabled by default or not. It may be that I've
nvm, mshome wont show less username/ps is set

Unfortunately it looks like I can't reproduce the error.
I was running Mozilla under wine, because I was testing something for
someone with windows. I now played with wine and other applications,
letting it do all kind of things with the gnome-panel,

source to a nearby mirror. The software sources icon in the control
panel asked for a password the first time I clicked it, and now does
nothing.

I can certainly try. I assume I will have to wait for it to crash again
(which is easy because it crashes every time I login). Then do I just
let it report the bug like normal or do I have to do something special.
