I have this problem in Fiesty! I can only confirm it for cd's since I
have only a cd burner. This has happened when using Rhythmbox for audio
cd's, and the Nautilus front end (Places > CD/DVD Creator) for data
cd's, and when I right click on an .iso and chose Write to disc... It
even happened, IIRC

The ikon of KAlarm was on the panel, I tested the program and it worked
ok. After I had restarted UBUNTU 7.04 the KAlarm ikon was no more on
the panel and I could not find the ikon or the program. Best wishes

The contact editor in Evolution 2.10.1 has no field for "Company". It
only nows the "Surname Name" scheme. This makes sync with Palm and
Blackberry difficult.
You can, of course, insert "The Company, Inc." in the "Full Name" field
(or whatever
There is an upstream bug about this, which says it is fixed in newer
version.

I agree, I agree.
those pop-ups were one of the things I hated most about Windows XP. You
can turn them off in Windows XP, though (though it takes searching
through the registry editor for about 20 minutes.)
It's been hours and i haven't yet figured out how to turn them off in
Feisty!
