I solved my problems with the deskbar deleting all my previous gnome and
nautilus settings, going back to the Ubuntu defaults. I've just erased
these directories: ~/.gconf* ~/.gnome* ~/.config ~/.local and
~/.nautilus. Everything seems to work fine now.
